Visitor Center Edersee
Visitor center with tourist information, myth of the Edersee and attractive outdoor area: A section through the century-old building brings the history of the Edersee to life.
Architecturally, the building is based on the dam wall and is therefore a special feature with a regional reference. The concept idea arose from the symbolic cutting out of a section of the Eder Dam. The visitor center is divided into four areas: The foyer is located in the "cut through the wall". The outdoor area invites you to linger and is a place to meet. The large steps offer seating and from the terrace, visitors can overlook the lake and the wall. The tourist information and the panoramic lounge are located on the ground floor. Mythos Edersee, the staging of the history of the Edersee, and the sanitary facilities are located in the basement.
