The church in Bringhausen was demolished before the dam was flooded and rebuilt in a reduced size in Neu-Bringhausen.

The foundation walls, a cellar vault, parts of a castle moat as well as traces of the driveway and grave fields are visible from Alt-Bringhausen when the water level is low. The graves in the old cemetery were covered with stone slabs and are submerged at a water level of 231,75 m above sea level. NN again.
