With the Asel ferry you can easily cross the Edersee between Asel and Asel-Süd.
Since 1921, the ferryman of the Aseler ferry has been taking people across the Edersee to the other bank without leaving the water.

The ferryman runs Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m. Sundays from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m. Monday is the ferryman's day off. Please contact us outside opening hours and in case of bad weather please call us.
As every year, the water level of the Edersee is not always deep enough for boating. So the ferry runs seasonally.
