The approximately 10 meter high tower can now be climbed via an external staircase up to the 5 meter high entrance and then via an internal staircase.

Located in the middle of the forest, the control room now looks like Rapunzel's tower. The approximately 10 meter high tower can now be climbed via an external staircase up to the 5 meter high entrance and then via an internal staircase and offers a beautiful view over Meineringhausen and Höringhausen. The Dalwigker Warte, together with the Rollborner Warte, probably served in the Middle Ages to establish a connection using light signals between the castle on the Eisenberg near Korbach and Waldeck Castle. The control room was renovated in the 1990s and is now a nice place to stop for bike or hiking tours.
