A special feature of the original miners' settlement were the so-called one-room houses. With only around 20 square meters of floor space, there was only a living room and bedroom for the miners in addition to the kitchen.

Such miners' houses - like those described in the Snow White fairy tale - are known nowhere else. You can still see this type of construction today in the historic Bergamt and in the Schneewittchenhaus Bergfeiheit. On the second Sunday of every month, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are your hosts.

The Snow White House is in Bergfreiheit

March 21st - October 31st
Wed - Sun: 15 p.m. - 17 p.m

Sat - Sun 15 p.m. - 17 p.m
On legal Open on public holidays from 15 p.m. to 17 p.m. (except December 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st and January 1st)

Admission: adults €3, children up to 11 years €1,50.

On the second Sunday of every month, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs are their personal hosts in the Snow White House.

If Easter is in March, the house opens on Maundy Thursday.
