To old boundary stones

The Dreiherrenstein route opens up the forests around the Quernst for hikers. Follow the symbol of the boundary stones and you will experience history and emerging wilderness up close.

It goes along centuries-old borders to Dreiherrenstein, where the old territories of Hesse-Darmstadt, Hesse-Kassel and Waldeck bordered one another. The mossy boundary stones invite you to linger and take a “historical look back”. At the Wolfsgrube, at the latest, many hikers get a shiver down their spines.
