A circular hiking trail from the Odershausen district that leads through rustic beech forests around the Auenberg and across wide meadow landscapes back to the starting point.
This entertaining tour combines picturesque valleys, varied forest images and charming views over wide meadow landscapes.
From the starting point at the hiking car park at the Odershausen water treading basin, the path leads through the Kaltebornsbachtal into the old beech forests around the Auenberg. On the way back you pass the “Jägersburg” rest area. You can still see the foundations of the former hunting lodge.
Through the extensive meadow valleys you have beautiful views of the Auenberg and the surrounding area.
The path is not difficult and is easy to manage even for inexperienced hikers.
