Best Season

The ideal connection between Bad Wildungen and the Edersee. You can experience a lot of nature on this tour.

The ER 4 extends the loop of the ER 3 with a trip to the traditional spa town of Bad Wildungen. From Edertal Hemfurth, the ER 4 runs on the Eder cycle path and the Ederauen adventure trail. At the height of waves, the ER 4 leaves the Edertal and follows the gently rising Wildetal. Mountain peaks and valleys characterize the lovely landscape. Treasures of flora grow over the rocky bottom of steep valley slopes. Carbonated mineral springs come to light. They made the largest spa park in Europe and the spa business in Bad Wildungen world famous. Laid out in the English style well over 100 years ago, the park delights with colorful flowers, medicinal springs, water features and its shady avenues, which - past music pavilions and the Kurpark Cafe, a popular meeting point - lead to the imposing foyer.
