On the trail of secrets of the forest
The Elsebach route is identical to the national park's forest ecology trail. Information boards along the way help you discover the secrets of the forest. Hollow paths, gnarled hat trees and remnants of heather are reminiscent of ancient times. It's worth taking a detour to the lookout point at Hagenstein. A leaflet offers opportunities to get involved.
You should allow at least three hours to get to know the entire nature trail.
The texts and illustrations on the signs are also intended to help children explore forest habitats: “Come join us!”
