Highlight tour on the steep slopes of the Edersee: past Waldeck Castle, the viewpoints of the Pulpit, to the Edertalsperre and back again
Route 2 follows the Urwaldsteig past old city walls with a view of Lake Edersee. Through rustic stunted beech forests on the Ziegenberg, you follow winding paths along the steep slope to the pulpit. There is a magnificent view of the Edersee and castle as well as the impressive dam wall a little further on.
